Sri Venkateswara College,
Suryapet, was established in
the year 1971. Late Sri Amaravadi
Venkata Narsaiah, a great
philanthropist of Suryapet, donated
82 acres of land by executing a will
to start a college in the name of
his beloved Almighty, Lord Sri
Venkateswara.
Following is the bronze idol of the
donor of the land:

This institution is now jointly
sponsored and managed by the Osmania
Graduates Association and the
Exhibition Society, Hyderabad, who
were pioneers in championing the
cause of spreading quality education
to the rural Telangana areas. Ever
since the inception, under the
guidance of the OGA and the
Exhibition Society, the governing
bodies of the college were all along
successful in the establishment and
flourishing of the college.
